Try these Four Easy Steps...
1. OK, the first thing you want to do is avoid
the "bunched
up" feel when connecting the hairpiece to the hat.
Soooo....to make sure your hairpiece is smooth against the hatband
of your hat, attach the middle of the hairpiece (the Velcro part)
to the middle back of the hat (where the hat label is) first.
2. Now smooth your hairpiece one side at a time
to the hatband. Smooth against the hatband toward each end, letting
the Velcro attach where it will. These do not have to match up exactly!* This isn't an exact science like physics...Velcro is very forgiving
and just loves to connect at any point!
3. Before you attach the bang, put the joined hat
and hairpiece on first, adjusting the hat to your head.
4. Now slip the bang up inside the hat. You can
custom trim and cut the bang for a personal fit or you can simply
slip the bang up past the Velcro part of the sweatband. Most hats
will hold
the bang against your head without it even being attached to the
Velcro. This keeps your bang length as long as possible for hats
that sit high on your forehead (like ball caps).
Enjoy!
*As the hats vary in size (S/M to L/XL) and the
hairpieces do not, there will be a variety of connecting points between
sweatband Velcro
and hairpiece Velcro. In other words, the Velcro patches may not,
and do not have to, match up exactly. Even the least amount of connection
between hatband Velcro and hairpiece Velcro will be effective.
Want your hairpiece to look shorter without cutting it? Try
this....
Once your hat and hairpiece are on your head, reach
inside the hat and push the hairpiece up past the Velcro to achieve
the desired length. Your hat should hold the hairpiece in place,
even without being attached. |

Measure around your head with measuring tape
above your eyebrows and ears. Convert
inches to hat size using the chart above. If you are measuring your head without
hair and you are purchasing
the hairpiece as well, add about 1/2" to your head size to
determine your hat size. All hats
in the Hat & Hair™ line can be size adjusted slightly with their
ribbons, chin strap, elastic chord, or by placing a thin piece of foam just
inside the
sweatband.
It is always better to have the hat fit a little more loosely than too tight,
as it can always be adjusted. |
